Meet Our Periodontist- Implant Specialist

Dr. Nicholas Amigoni is our expert periodontist and implant specialist, specializing in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease, as well as the placement of dental implants. He has extensive experience managing complex cases, including severe gum disease and patients with complicated medical histories, helping them restore both oral health and confidence.

Dr. Amigoni’s treatments include scaling and root planing, root surface debridement, extractions, bone grafting, implant placement, advanced periodontal therapies, and even Invisalign treatments. Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Nick has taught implantology and periodontology internationally—including in Russia, Ukraine, the Salties, India, and several European countries—through the Chicago Center for Advanced Dentistry and the University of Chicago.

Outside the office, Dr. Amigoni enjoys traveling, scuba diving, cooking, running, reading, and spending quality time with his daughter, Ali. A passionate runner, he has completed all five major world marathons and is on a mission to run a marathon in all 50 states.
